An important factor in our client's decision to choose Corian for their remodeling projects is the outstanding warranty offered by Dupont. This warranty is considered the "best in the business" and we agree! But even with a terrific product and a wonderful warranty, comparing "apples to apples" is not as easy as you might think.

Choosing the company you want to provide that product is one of your most important choices. Like everything else price is an important consideration but beware ... not all authorized fabrications are alike and not all Corian is created equal!

Dupont's ten year warranty will cover repair or replacement of your product if it fails due to any manufacturing, fabrication, or installation defect during the first ten years after installation if the product was fabricated and installed by a Certified fabricator and installer. When it comes to fabrication and installation there are vast differences between companies and their techniques, all of which fall within Dupont's guidelines but which produce vastly different finished results. Dupont's warranty specifically states that it does not cover the "merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose". What this means to you, the consumer, is that Dupont will not guarantee the final appearance of your purchase. We think this is a very important factor to consider when looking for a company to work with and we want you to know how Bucks County can make a difference!

Above and Beyond the Manufacturer's Warranty!
  1. Dupont's requirement for Corian certification is a two and one half day class and inspection of three fabricated countertops.

    BCK's fabricator and installer has 25 years experience working exclusively with Corian products and was the first fabricator certified in the Delaware Valley.

  2. Most dealers sub-contract their work to production shops which offer all types of solid materials to their dealers. These shops specialize in mass production.

    BCK's shop is local and fabricates all your materials by hand. The owner/fabricator personally prices, templates, fabricates and installs your purchase in a very professional manor.

  3. Dupont has varying guidelines for fabrication and installation of their products.

    BCK uses only superior, proven methods of fabrication and we hard template every project to assure a perfect, custom fit.

  4. Corian materials are shipped with a semi-finished surface. Most production shops sand their finish on the working surface which is capable of fostering bacteria growth.

    BCK's standard finish is an exclusive six step "sandar" technique which produces a uniform, lustrous and easy to maintain surface.

  5. Most dealers charge extra for non-standard edge treatments.

    BCK offers all of our unique edges at no additional charge.

  6. Dupont specifically excludes the appearance of the finished product from their warranty.

    BCK Guarantees initial as well as long term satisfaction and we are very proud of our beautifully finished surfaces and virtually invisible seams!

  7. Dupont uses outside warranty contractors to evaluate claims and effect repairs when approved.

    BCK warrants and personally services everything we sell. We also provide a maintenance "kit" and video with every finished project.
